THE OLD DOG HOWLS!
There's one game left in the mens basketball NCAA Division I National Championship Tournament, but as for the family pool, it was all over when Michigan State beat UConn. That game put Gary in the lead and unbeatable. The North Carolina win over 'Nova set the losers in their final resting places making the game tonight pointless. CBS will most likely cancel the television coverage.

Mom has a webcam now and she can do video/audio chats using Yahoo! Messenger. If you have a webcam and high speed internet service you can set yourself up on Yahoo! Messenger and do the same. The audio/video chat sure beats the heck out of instant messaging. It all free. Webcams are selling for around $24 and up now and are easy to install and use. The Microsoft Lifecam is on the low end. It's pretty bare-bones but works ok and is easy to install. There's a button on the camera that when pressed causes your PC to want to install some software you don't need. That's kind of irritating. I highly recommend the Logitech Pro 9000. Quality video and impressive audio. Will automatically follow you around if you want. You can find them online for about $75.

The picture is actually a couple of years old. It is a nice monitor though. It has a built in tv tuner and I can use pic-in-pic to split the display in half. Then I can watch cable TV while playing solitaire. It's in the house now and I use a crappy old 15" CRT in the garage.

Linda and I joined Judy and Gary at Mom's for dinner and catching-up last evening. Our thanks to J&G for the KFC and conversation. Linda and I saw Cirque du Soleil "Saltimbanco" last night at Coseco Fieldhouse. Really cool. Duo Trapeez , Bungee Performers, Russian Swing, Juggling, Artistic Bicycle, Chinese Poles, Fantastic characters, wonderfully colorful stage and costumes, a great time. The guys in the pic (Hand to Hand) were amazing as were all the performers.

I've been tryig to get on this, but had to wait until Harlie came to tell me what to do. Who knew those little colored letters down below had something to do with it. Remember I'm 84 years old and will never catch up with you younguns.
